6 year old Nathanael has been battling Wilms Tumor (pediatric Kidney Cancer) since January 2013. He underwent surgery to remove the kidney that contained the tumor then completed 6 months chemotherapy. He relapsed with a tumor in each lung. At this point he is considered stage 4 Wilms tumor. July 17, 2013 surgery was to remove one of the tumors in his lungs. He completed 8 days radiation and started heavier chemotherapy. October 17th they removed what little was left of the other tumor in his lungs. His journey the last 3months has been extremely difficult. It seems if he is exposed to any little infection he gets it. It has been rough.
He completed his last planned treatment January 29, 2014 We now wait for scans.
